Widow of Late Md. Ariful Islam, Principal Officer of Gopinathpur Branch has been appointed as an employee of Uttara Bank PLC
Mst. Taslima Sharmin Moli, widow of Late Md. Ariful Islam, Principal Officer of Gopinathpur Branch has been appointed as an employee of Uttara Bank PLC. Hon'ble Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Hashem handed over the appointment letter to her in an unceremonious occassion at Bank’s Head Office on 12.08.2026. It to be noted here that Mr. Ariful Islam was murdered by some torrorists on 06.07.2026 when he was engaged with the recovery activities of classified loans of the Bank. The Additional Managing Director Mr. Maksudul Hasan, Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Mr. Khandaker Ali Samnoon and Mr. Md. Rafiul Islam were present in the occasion. The President of Bangladesh Bank Employees’ Federation (Reg.no. B-1963) Mr. Rafiqul Islam, General Secretary Mr. Kazi Abul Bashar; The President of Uttara Bank Karmachari Union (Reg. no. B-1936) Mr. Mosleh Uddin, General Secretary Mr. Abu Mohd. Ahsanul Habib along with officers and staffs of the bank were also present in the occasion.
